Meet the ODTUG Board
The ODTUG Board of Directors is a group of volunteers elected by the ODTUG membership to serve the community at large. Directors serve two-year terms and are your direct link to all things ODTUG.
Natalie Delemar - President
Natalie Delemar is a Consultant with Ernst & Young and has been working with Essbase since 1999 and Planning since 2007. Prior to becoming a Consultant in 2010, she held roles as an Essbase Developer, Hyperion Administrator, and Hyperion Systems Manager at various companies. She has been a volunteer with ODTUG since 2008 and served as Kscope12 and Kscope13's EPM/BI Content Chair, Co-Chaired Kscope14, and served as the Kscope15 Conference Chair.
Danny Bryant - Vice President
Oracle ACE Director, Danny Bryant, is currently an Infrastructure Principal at Accenture Enkitec Group. Danny serves as the Vice President of ODTUG, the Treasurer of the Oracle User Group on Georgia (GAOUG), the Conference Chair of ODTUG Kscope17 and has been published in RMOUG’s SQL>Update magazine. Danny was also an Adjunct Instructor with the Oracle Academy, teaching SQL and Data Modeling throughout the US and Europe. Prior to his Public Sector work in Atlanta, Danny was a Senior Engineer with Andersen, LLP, where he focused on business process re-engineering for the hospitality, telecom, and call-center industries. He received a BS in computer science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In his free time, he SCUBA dives, enjoys training in various forms of Martial Arts with his two kids.
Mike Riley - Secretary
Mike Riley has served many roles for ODTUG: Vice President, President, Conference Chair, Conference Co-Chair, and Oracle OpenWorld Content Chair. Mike is an Oracle ACE, was a columnist for Oracle Magazine, and was named 2014 ODTUG Volunteer of the Year at the fantastic Kscope14 Conference in Seattle!
Mike is a Project Manager/DBA with Hortica Insurance and Employee Benefits, an insurance company dedicated to providing the very highest-quality insurance products and employee benefits to the horticultural industry. Mike has 25+ years of experience in consulting with the Department of Defense, working for a large clothing and shoe retailer, and in his current position. He has led many successful projects throughout his career, including leading a development team to create a rating system for worker’s compensation insurance using Designer, Developer, Reports, and other third-party tools. He has also taken part in many database upgrades/migrations and disaster recovery planning and testing scenarios.
Gary Crisci - Treasurer
Gary Crisci is a Senior Financial Systems Leader and Oracle ACE with 20 years of finance and IT experience, specializing in Oracle EPM software. During his career, Gary has held various positions as a consultant and industry professional working for top-tier companies such as Siemens, Morgan Stanley, and General Electric. He is the EPM Principal Technologist for GE, helping to lead the company’s global EPM shared service deployment. Gary has an MBA in information systems and lives in Connecticut with his wife and two sons.
Opal Alapat - Director and ODTUG Kscope18 Conference Chair
Opal Alapat is an EPM Cloud Specialist at interRel Consulting and has been working in the EPM industry for over 15 years. She started her Oracle career with Essbase 6.x, PL/SQL coding, and Hyperion Planning 1.0; moved into data integration technologies; and then worked her way up to EPM Architect and Project Manager roles. She now focuses on the EPM Cloud technologies and enjoys presenting, training, and sharing knowledge. Opal is a Co-Founder of the Dallas-Fort Worth NTxHUG local user group. Her past and current ODTUG accomplishments include:

Karen Cannell - Director
Karen is president of TH Technology, a consulting firm providing Oracle technology services, and an Oracle ACE Associate. A mechanical engineer by degree (one of them), she has analyzed, designed, developed, converted, upgraded, enhanced, and otherwise implemented legacy and commercial database applications for over 25 years, concentrating on Oracle technologies. She has worked with Application Express since its Web DB beginnings and continues to leverage Oracle tools to build quality web applications for government, medical, and engineering industries. Karen is Editor Emeritus of the ODTUG Technical Journal, a 2015 Oracle Developer Choice finalist, 2012 ODTUG Volunteer of the Year, and co-author of Expert Oracle Application Express, Agile Oracle Application Express, and Beginning Oracle Application Express 4.2. Karen is an active member of ODTUG, IOUG, RMOUG, and NOUG.
Martin D'Souza - Director
Martin Giffy D'Souza is a Senior PL/SQL and APEX Consultant at Insum and has been on the ODTUG Board of Directors for four years. Martin’s career has seen him hold a range of positions within award-winning companies. His experience in the technology industry has been focused on developing database-centric web applications using the Oracle technology stack. Martin is the author of the popular blog www.TalkApex.com, founder of OraOpenSource.com, and a designated Oracle ACE Director, and he has co-authored and authored various APEX books. He has also presented at numerous international conferences such as APEX posed!, COUG, Oracle OpenWorld, and ODTUG Kscope. Martin holds a computer engineering degree from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada.
Tim German - Director
Tim is a British expat who lives with his family in Chicago, Illinois. He has worked with Oracle tools since 1998 and is currently a Director at Qubix, an Oracle Partner focused on EPM/BI products. Tim’s particular area of expertise is the design of systems built on the Essbase platform. Since 2015, he has been recognized as an Oracle ACE.
Jake Turrell - Director
Jake is a Senior Solution Architect with over 23 years of experience implementing Enterprise Performance Management solutions. Jake began his career as a financial systems intern at Dell, where he administered IMRS Micro Control, the predecessor to Hyperion Enterprise. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in management information systems, Jake joined Ernst & Young’s Management Consulting practice. In 1998, Jake moved to Navigator Systems, where he rose to the level of OLAP Practice Lead. Since 2003, Jake has been an independent consultant focused on the implementation of Hyperion Planning, PBCS, Essbase, and related technologies.
Veronica Snow - Executive Director
Veronica Snow is the Executive Director of ODTUG. She previously served as Senior Project Manager for conferences of various associations, technology user groups, and higher-education institutions. Her strengths include working with volunteers and boards, conference management, editing, and overall brainstorming and implementation of ambitious projects under tight time constraints.
